The past few months are yet another example of the importance that drapilux places on meeting up with both new and also long-standing partners of the brand. drapilux has attended a total of six trade fairs since the beginning of the year and presented its new arrivals to industry experts not only within Europe, but in Asia too.
The trade fair year got off to a great start at the beginning of 2018 with the Heimtextil in Frankfurt. Both the redesign and new location of the trade fair stand ensured an optimal arrangement for presenting the latest arrivals.
This good start was quickly followed by a double exhibition in the Alpine region:
drapilux was initially at the CASA in Salzburg at the end of January, then at the HEIMTEXSUISSE in Bern with their partner Texcon Fabrics immediately afterwards. The main focus of the talks was the new dim-outs, with the help of a light wall to effectively demonstrate their light blocking ability.
As in previous years, drapilux also exhibited at the leading trade fair, Altenpflege (which took place in Hanover this year) at the beginning of March alongside Amtico. The design of the shared stand featured an impressive combination of fabric panels which were decoratively presented, as well as vertically ascending planks manufactured by Amtico, making it really stand out amongst the other stands.
“We were able to attract a huge number of visitors to our stands and had extremely promising conversations”
“We are especially pleased about the opportunity to present our brand at the hugely popular Shenzhen Home Furnishing Expo in China” said Hubert Reinermann, Sales Director at drapilux. The Shenzhen Home Furnishing Expo is one of the major home textiles trade fairs in China, in which drapilux would not be have been able to partake without their partner, Choy’s trading.
One final nursing care trade fair rounded off the first half of the trade fair year: in mid-May, drapilux exhibited its products at PFLEGE PLUS in Stuttgart.
Reinermann had many positive things to say about the first half of the 2018 trade fair year and was very happy with what had been achieved: “We were able to attract a huge number of visitors to our stands and had extremely promising conversations”.
drapilux will also be in Hamburg in September to exhibit at the SMM. The SMM is the world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry and functions as a platform of information for this sector.
In addition, the products will once again be presented at Sleep & eat in London, which is the leading European trade fair for hotel design. The Olympia Exhibition Centre will be the new event location this year to accommodate for the enormous demand for the trade fair. Also new this year: the sectors encompassed have been extended to include both restaurant and bar design, hence the addition of “and eat” to the trade fair name.
“We are looking forward to experiencing the new trade fair format and are also excited to be holding even more great conversations”, said Reinermann, looking ahead to the second half of the 2018 trade fair year.
